I posted a lot of positive articles about how we could use a change and how politics needed to change. Today, I still support Barack Obama. I just recently got feedback on a couple of my older posts. A person left some comments which expressed their negativity for Barack Obama. The messages were full of what seemed to be erroneous and media driven claims about the president. The person also posted the comments as anonymous, which I think is rather cowardice. This mystery person said:

Post 1-"haha, why we spent on the war looks like nothing now that Obama is in office. What happened to change? I dont considered sending an additional 30,000 troops to Afghanistan any different from what Bush would have done."

Post 2- "haha, thanks for the advise! Im really glad we all voted for him... wish i could go back in time and vote for anyone but this idiot! how could we have all been so naive. Why didn't we look at his track record?"

Ok, I appreciate the opinion of others. I think that we all have the right to choose whether or not we like or dislike someone. If you DO happen to dislike someone then I think it is appropriate to have logical reasoning.

I shall start with comment 1. I think it is fair to agree that the deficit in America is the worst it has ever been. Can you blame Obama for that? Yes, if you already have a bias opinion of him. It makes more sense to blame corrupt CEO's and the ill amounts of money we are spending on the war. There are a lot of factors which lead to the decline in America. I suspect it has more to do with the fact that America is no longer an industrial country. We love to outsource and use sweat shops. Why hire people here at minimum wage when you can hire someone in Thailand or China that will work for pennies a day? America does not produce anything anymore. All of the factories in older industrial cities look more like ghost towns. The buildings are rotting away with boarded up windows. The only human life that has been seen inside of these monstrous structures is that of homeless vagrants and drug dealers. Last time I checked Barack Obama did not cause the factors which lead to this deficit. As far as Obama making the decision to send more troops to Afghanistan, I would say this claim is bullshit as well. You ask how this is different from what Bush would have done? Bush started the war under false reasoning. The entire war has been strewn with lies. What Obama is doing is sending more troops, along with peace keepers and architectures and builders. The point of the troops being deployed is to protect the people that have to rebuild the mess we have made. Obama is trying to make amends with leaders from other countries. To me this seems like what a good leader would do. Bush made enemies and sent young Americans over to Afghanistan to die!

In Post 2 our ghost writer sarcastically thanks me for my advice on voting for Barack Obama. You are welcome Casper. I'm also glad we voted for him. He then follows up his angst about my opinion by calling Obama an "idiot". OK, I see where you are going with this. I happen to remember a president that went to Yale. He was failing but the University passed him with "gentleman C's". At Yale a C translates to an F!! Yes I also remember the awesome speeches that this president gave. A bumbling fool who could not even remember the punchline to his own horrid jokes. Oh but it's OK because, golly gee, he loves Jesus. The eloquence and well thought out ideas of our current president certainly do not point to his alleged idiocy. So what I ask is the grounds for calling him an idiot? Ahhh, right, it must have been his high grades he got while graduating from Harvard University. Got it!! Moving on... Hmmm, how could we have been so naive? This points to the assumption that we should all have clairvoyance. Sorry Mr. Anonymous, we can't all see into the future like you. Naivety has nothing to do with why Obama was voted into office. What track record were you going to look at? Had Obama been president prior to his election?

If you are going to come to my blog page and attack my opinion, please be prepared to stand up for yourself and deliver intelligent and logical evidence. Either you have an agenda, you are sour because you voted for McCain or you are a racist! Obama has not been in office long enough for anyone to even place blame on him for the economy. I believe that Obama is trying to help America get on track. There are a lot of issues but right now the most important is the economy. There are some factors which weigh heavier on our economy. One of the major factors is health care. Everybody is so critical to judge Obama for trying to reform health care. Instead of judging, propose another idea. If your idea is better than his, we will vote you in as the next president. You have my promise for a vote. Until then, stop spreading hate and lies.

If you want to question me and attack my writing...feel free. Don't think I am going to just sit back and take it. You want a debate, you got one. You wanna fight? Yes we can!!
